Study this before you vote!
The TYPE of contributions is quite different for the two candidates.
- Brooks’ campaign is funded largely by individual citizen donors
- Bales’ campaign includes larger contributions, business-linked donors, & a PAC
Some questions for voters to consider:
- Will big money like this expect favors if Bales is elected?
- Did Bales vote on the Mineral Severance tax already reflect this?
- Is the Mayor’s Race being bought by mining/quarry interests and construction, developers and a PAC?
- Will these big money donors work against citizens who want to maintain a rural feel in Jefferson County?
